Get adequate sleep. If you have chronic puffy eyes, it could be that you’re simply not getting enough sleep, or the quality of the sleep you’re getting is deficient. Bags under the eyes is a commonplace symptom of sleep deprivation.

Hydrate! A significant number of people inclined to puffy eyes are normally dehydrated. If you have puffy eyes, you probably need to drink more water. Go for a gallon a day or at the very least, 3 quarts. Make it water or herbal tea. Sugared, flavored or carbonated drinks don’t count. And if you’re a coffee drinker or drink alcohol on a regular basis, you should drink an additional glass of water for every glass of wine or cup of coffee.

Elevate your head as you sleep. It’s not unusual to have puffy when you first wake up in the morning. One explanation for this could be that if you are laying down for several hours in a flat position and then get up to a vertical position, the fluid that is lying under your eyes is suddenly being drawn down by gravitation. This swelling ordinarily will subside shortly. In order to prevent morning puffy eyes, is to lift your head while you sleep so that the fluid is not as speedily forced down when you get up.

Watch your salt intake. A high consumption of salt can cause your body to retain fluid. Try cutting down on salt and see if that tightens your puffy eyes.

Drink cranberry or cabbage juice. Both are diuretics, which will help your body release some surplus fluid in your tissues. Other diuretics include the herbs uva ursi and golden rod.

Give yourself extra exercise. Exercise improves circulation, which will cause your body to move fluid through your body, rather than allowing it amass.

Theres a Answer for all Hair Loss Problems

Suffering from hair loss can be a agonizing experience, particularly in a world where hair is viewed as a symbol of age and vitality. An average person loses about 100 to 150 strands of hair a day, in the 3 phase hair growth cycle, panic usually takes over and all we think about is hair loss and what we can do to prevent further hair loss. Thats when Advanced Hair Studio becomes one of your most significant assets.

There’s a solution for all hair loss once the cause is identified, losing your hair is not a social death sentence. Theres no need to become a social recluse when the first signs of male pattern baldness or female pattern baldness become obvious. Advanced Hair can most certainly help with all your hair loss problems once you decide to take the first step to get to the source of the issue.

Do a Little Research on Modern Hair Replacement Technology

Hair usually grows in three stages. 90% of your hair is in the active or Anagen stage, and that stage usually lasts from three to 6 years. 10% of your hair follicles are in the sedentary phase which includes two stages: Catagen and Telogen. The Catagen stage can last for thirty to ninety days, while the Telogen stage lasts about fourteen to twenty-one days when hair follicles are healthy and hormone levels are balanced.

When hormone levels are out of sync, the body may develop too much testosterone and the by-product of too much testosterone is the enzyme dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT bonds with receptors on hair follicle roots and damages the follicle, plus it disrupts the hair growing cycle. The follicle becomes prematurely dormant and the hair in the follicle falls out. Advanced Hair Studio has modern hair replacement tools available to deal with your out of sync hair growing cycle. Advanced Hair Studio will restore your hair as well as your confidence and social life.

Resv Capsules are made using Japanese Knotweed which is commercially the largest, most abundant and economic source of Resvinternationally Much has been said about the high density of Resv that is present in red grapes, and whilst this is true, the majority of the red grape harvests go to making red wine rather than to the health Supplements industry. There is also the fact that Japanese Knotweed is substantially cheaper than red grapes.

Japanese Knotweed is a large herbaceous plant that originates in East Asia and has been associated with Chinese herbal medicine for thousands of years. The plant grows prolifically, having the natural ability to emit its own natural herbicide that kills off many of the competitive plants in its vicinity. This is the main reason that in some countries (including the US and the UK), it is classed as an invasive species. The fact remains though that it is still commercially the most prolific source of ResVeratrol and for that reason it is encouraged and cultivated in many areas. Amongst the diseases that it is believed ResVeratrol may help to prevent are: cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer, Diabetes, and insulin resistance, and it is the Diabetes and insulin resistance that has a relevance in terms of weight loss. The research that was carried out on mice, found that as well as slowing down the aging process and keeping the test subjects healthy, the ResVeratrol capsule also stopped the mice from gaining any weight. It has also been discovered, that in humans it serves to suppress estrogen metabolites which helps to reduce body fat and facilitate muscle gain, which in turn stimulates the metabolic rate thereby increasing the amount of body fat (and calories) that are burned off naturally. It was during research on the aging process being undertaken by Doctor David Sinclair that the age slowing characteristic of ResVeratrol was discovered. A number of tests were then carried out on mice that were given a ResVeratrol supplement, and the results showed conclusively that the mice not only lived 30% longer, but they did not gain any weight, nor did they contract any of the illnesses that are associated with growing old.

Porcelain veneers are the most successful products from cosmetic dentistry professionals in Santa Monica at the moment. Naturally, there are reasons why this is so. Even if the teeth are stained, chipped, worn down by excessive grinding or just naturally crooked, they can be fixed without the need for a general anesthetic. It's no surprise most clients exit the dentist's surgery in Santa Monica with a smile on their face.

Dental veneers are the most frequently requested products from cosmetic dentistry professionals in Santa Monica at the moment. And why not? Porcelain veneers alleviate a lot of problems, are sensibly priced, and don’t require a general anesthetic. No wonder so many clients leave the dentist in Santa Monica smiling. Crafted from a thin layer of a ceramic material, veneers fit over the problem teeth to look like regular tooth enamel. Once they are fitted, veneers hide chips, cracks, gaps, odd shapes, stains, and many other problems to give clients a straight, gleaming smile. Santa Monica dental veneers last a long time and are virtually immune to discoloration or chipping.

To fit them, Santa Monica cosmetic dentistry professionals sand the surface enamel of the affected teeth and alter their shape if required. Then, they take an impression of the patient’s dentition which is delivered to a specialist dental laboratory where the veneers are manufactured. While the final veneers are in the process of being made temporary covers are affixed to protect the teeth.

When the veneers are completed, the cosmetic dental practitioner will take out the interim shells and prepare the teeth. Next the dentistry professional will utilize a fixative and set the veneer into its final position. After the cement has cured properly then the dental veneers can be treated exactly like natural teeth. To care for their veneers, they merely have to floss and brush regularly and see their cosmetic dentist on a regular basis. Nevertheless there can be a few disadvantages with veneers. Bacteria can on occasion accumulate in the region of and underneath the veneer increasing the chances of decay so brushing and flossing is crucial. Regrettably they are not always the most appropriate product for clients who suffer from bruxism as they can break under extended periods of pressure. When compared to composite bonding, crowns, and other dental treatments, Santa Monica dental veneers are certainly not the least expensive alternative, but they aren’t the most expensive either. Veneers do have many advantages though. They will survive considerably more wear and tear than composite bonding. And in comparison to implants, they’re less pricey, not as painful to fit, and can be installed much more quickly. Santa Monica cosmetic dentistry professionals are eager to discuss the options available. So give them a buzz and feel more self-confident.

In the United States alone, there are over 40 Million people who struggle with acne. Many of these people treat acne using chemicals such as antibiotics, prescription drugs, benzoyl peroxide, and salicylic acid.

However, there is a growing number of people who choose herbal acne treatments over traditional medications. Usually, herbal medications have far fewer side effects, and are not as dangerous as some of the prescription drugs.

The problem however, is that the United States does very little to regulate the herbal supplement industry. Unlike traditional chemical medications, herbal medications are not required to be clinically proven to work, or even to be safe. An example of this lack of regulation recently came to light with ephedra related deaths, and ephedras subsequent ban.

This lack of regulation results in many different acne products on the market. All of which claim to heal, prevent, or even cure acne with few, if any, side effects.

The truth is, there are very few herbal acne treatments that are scientifically proven to work. Traditional chemical treatments are still the most effective in stopping acne.

There are only 2 herbal treatments that have been clinically proven to help stop acne, tea tree oil and green tea cream.

Tea tree oil is a natural oil, derived from the Melaleuca alternifolia, a particular type of tea tree found exclusively in Australia. While it has been used from hundreds of years by the native aboriginals as a treatment for just about anything, it has only recently been accepted by modern medicine as being a viable anti-bacterial agent.

Even though tea tree oil has been suspected as an anti-bacterial agent for some time, A groundbreakings study was conducted in 1990 by I.B. Bassett, which compared tea tree oil to benzoyl peroxide in the treatment of acne. It was found that tea tree oil is as effective as a 5% benzoyl peroxide solution. It takes longer (6 weeks) for the tea tree oil to be as effective, but participants in the study reported none of the side effects associated with benzoyl peroxide, such as redness, skin irritation, or dry skin.

This study has helped tea tree oil become a recognized and legitimate herbal acne treatment. However, there is no need to purchase an expensive cream that contains tea tree oil. Just applying several drops of the oil directly on the acne has shown to be the most effective way to apply tea tree oil.

This was the only herbal acne treatment that had been proven to work until recently, when Dr. Jennifer Gan-Wong conducted a study that shows green tea can also effectively fight acne.

Dr. Gan-Wong compared a green tea cream with 3% green tea, to a 4% benzoyl peroxide solution, and found that the results in treating acne where the same for both the tea and the peroxide. These results were recently presented at the 2003 annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology.

These findings are relatively recent, and are not yet corroborated by additional independent studies. However, this evidence does demonstrate that the natural anti-bacterial properties of green tea can be effective to treat acne.

For those of you who are confused by the plethora of herbal acne treatments available, there really are only 2 that have been proven to be effective in fighting acne. Green tea cream, and tea tree oil. While many other herbal acne treatments may be good to moisturize the skin, or reduce oils, these are the only two that should be considered truly effective acne treatments.

Botox is now important amongst fashionable Sydney society and has become an essential part of grooming for many in the city.

Botox is fast becoming a must amongst Sydney’s stylish set in fact it is fast becoming an integral part of a beauty routine for individuals in Sydney. Nevertheless I am frequently amazed by the ridiculous tales in connection with the uncomplicated procedure.

I have outlined below some of the more errors often encountered at Star Cosmetic Medicine in Pyrmont, Sydney.

Misconception Number 1: I could lose the ability to express emotion!

Below the skin of the face are sixty or so muscles. Their persistent use over a period of time can result in the formation of fine lines. If excessive Botox has been injected the muscles of the face may sometimes become a little less expressive. The amount injected by virtually all physicians are designed to make you look ‘refreshed’, yet you will keep your facial expression.

By injecting the right amount of the toxin in precisely the right tissues an expressive face is maintained whilst the fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed.

Misconception Number 2: Botox is toxic!
Actually there is a grain of truth in this argument. Its pharmaceutical term is Botulinum Toxin Type A. In massive doses it can end up in loss of muscle tone and can even make one extremely ill.

But to help you grasp the bigger picture – an ancient pharmacist’s expression is that ‘everything is a poison – all depending on the dose’. All drugs in a large quantity can make you ill. If you drink too great a quantity of water you will die.

Misconception Number 3: Wrinkle injections hurt!
At Star Cosmetic Medicine the physician will use hypodermic needles smaller than a human hair. Several people liken the treatments to being bitten by a bug. It unquestionably is less traumatic than something like a vaccination.

Misconception Number 4: Botox will numb my face!
Totally false. Botox acts on the junction between the nerve and the facial muscle, and not on the nerves of sensation. Botox just affects the relaxation of muscles.

Misconception Number 5. You can’t stop getting Botox or else you may age quicker than ever!
This is also incorrect.

To learn more, you are advised to take a look at our remarkable site for Sydney Botox clinics info.

Botox is expected to be effective for up to three months. Any further injections after the first one should be effective for a few weeks longer. The lines will slowly re-emerge as the muscle returns to normal. But they will certainly be no worse than previously.

As A Matter Of Fact the lines will more often than not be softer than if you had never had Botox treatment – even if you never repeat the injections. This is typically so because you have given your skin a ‘wrinkle holiday’ during the treatment.

Wigs come in all shapes and sizes, from straight to curly, short to long. Wigs are also available in a variety of colors and texture. Wigs are worn by people for many reasons aside from covering natural hair loss. Some people wear wigs to change their hairstyles and hair colors albeit temporarily. Other people however use wigs not for aesthetic purposes but as part of tradition or the mandates of their professions. In the olden days, the use of wigs signified power and wealth. English judges and lawyers used to wear wigs in the courtroom. Remember those white curly hairs worn by judges in old English movies? These lawyers and judges use the wigs not for anything else but as part of their official functions. The use of wigs is basically a necessity for people who have thinning hair or have excessive hair loss. The presence of hair even though in the form of a wig, can spell more confidence for bald people. In ancient times, the Egyptians wore wigs for the same reason people wore hats, and that is to protect their heads from the sun’s heat. Wigs are widely used by performers, whether in movies or theaters, to help them delineate different roles that they portray. The use of wigs in theaters can somehow exaggerate the characters portrayed by actors and actresses. For women, wigs are essential fashionable accessories because it enables them to transform from dull dark-haired girls to blonde bombshells. Women who have short hairs also wear longer wigs when it suits them. Ironically, the use of wigs as a fashion accessory can be attributed not to a woman, but to male French and English leaders who wore wigs that imitated real hair. France’s Louis XIII and England’s Charles’s II spearheaded the use of wigs as a fashion accessory. But the wigs of the olden days were not always made of human hair due to the latter’s scarcity. Believe it or not, wig manufacturers used the hairs of animals like goats and horses to create wigs. The use of wigs for both men and women became more popular in the 18th century when the use of wigs became a status symbol. During that time, the wig colors varied from white to pink and there were even blue wigs. The popularity of wigs in Asia during the 19th century led to the industrialization of the wig industry where manufacturers discovered the use of synthetic hair materials for the production of wigs. The use of wigs as a fashion statement may have lost its popularity nowadays but this hair accessory is still being used for its functional purpose namely, to cover up hair loss or thinning hair. However, the use of wigs is still being practiced in theaters.

Botulinum therapy (abbreviated to Botox) is swiftly becoming ingrained in Sydney society in fact it is fast becoming a beauty routine essential for many in the Harbour City.

Botulinum therapy (shortened to Botox) is fast becoming ingrained in Sydney society in fact it is fast becoming a grooming must for numerous people in Sydney. Nevertheless I never cease to be stunned by the stories about the simple procedure. Here are a few of the common stories that I hear everyday in my work as a doctor at Star Cosmetic Medicine located in Pyrmont, Sydney.

Mistake Number 1: I may lose my facial expressions!

The human face has about sixty muscles. The facial muscles normally function harmoniously, however from continual movement expression lines may start to appear. When too much Botox is employed the facial muscles may sometimes become too relaxed. In general physicians use relatively low quantities to make you appear refreshed, however you will still be just as expressive.

Indeed a carefully calculated quantity of Botox in the appropriate site means one will get a smoothing of any fine lines and wrinkles without reducing facial expression.

Mistake Number 2: Botox is a toxic substance!
This to some extent is true. Its medical name is Botulinum Toxin Type A. In large doses it may end up in a decrease in muscle tone and may cause sickness.

Chemists have a well known saying that states ‘everything is poisonous – it all depends on the dose’. A large dose of any medicine can cause illness. Water can kill you if you take too much.

Mistake Number 3: Wrinkle injections hurt!
In our clinic Star Cosmetic Medicine the doctor utilises a needle finer than a human hair. Many individuals have said that the shots aren’t as sore as getting bit by a bug. For Certain not as painful as having a blood test.

Be sure to go to our really informative source for Botulinum injections Sydney information!

Mistake Number 4: Botox will deaden my face!
Not true. Botox affects the junction between the nerve and the facial muscle, and not on the nerves of sensation. Only the ability to relax muscles is impacted by Botox.

Mistake Number 5. You must keep getting Botox or else you will have worse wrinkles than before!
Also wrong.

You can expect the first treatment to be effective for up to 3 months. Further treatments tend to last a few weeks more. Eventually as muscle strength builds up again – the wrinkles will slowly re-emerge. However they will not be worse than when you commenced your treatment.

Even if you never had Botox ever again – those lines will most likely be a little less pronounced than if you had not been treated. This, of course is primarily because you have allowed your skin to have a ‘wrinkle holiday’ when the Botox was effective.

Barely even a friend of mine would inquire, simply ’cause I wear wigs fabulously, but it is a fact I don wigs to enhance my fashion confidence. My name is Janice Olivia and, welcome to the Born Beautiful Journal. I was amazed that Joseph my nephew did not realize I wore wigs the first time he’d seen me since I started wearing wigs. Credit goes to my lace wigs! These make my hair so effortlessly vibrant. I must surely to express that I couldn’t see things as I do today, as a confident hipster with kids, without my wigs.

Here’s the story, Five years ago entangled in my divorce, I came down with a medical condition which unfortunately afflicted me with medical hair loss. The hair loss hit me off guard. However, for the longest time the strings of locks in the tub was the furthest of my many concerns. But look, I had young kids running everywhere and on top of that, a demanding laundry company to run. Eventually my roommate Sally told me that given the wellness and family issues at stake, wigs were the easy solution.

So guess who went with the promise of feeling better and scheduled a consultation with a specialist about covering my medical hair loss. I initially looked into about pharmaceutical solutions, to be completely honest. When he advised that well-made wigs would be my best choice, even then I stayed skeptical. But oh boy, I’ve become a wig expert, sharing my experience to women in distress. Take it from me, your lace front wigs consultant. The most important thing they need to sleep on, is this: if you work it it like you own it, you’ll feel amazing.
